We are now well over the halfway mark in this college football season and the flood gates are close to opening for some coaches as they can see their jobs washing away.

After the craziest weekend of college football thus far into the season, it only makes sense to re-visit the coaches that are on the hottest seats around the nation.

Week to week we put out a hot seat piece and several coaches have gotten the big wins to get themselves off the watch… for now. We are at the point in the 2017 college football season where coaches have found themselves with a numbered amount of days left on their current campus. For some, they are fighting day in and day out to keep their jobs, for others, they have already crashed and burned.

Heading into Week 8 of this college football season, these five coaches can consider their seats the hottest across the country.
