Coming off an upset win vs. Auburn, LSU will face Ole Miss football for the Magnolia Bowl. They will look to keep the trophy in Louisiana for another year.

Despite an up and down start, the LSU Tigers have found a way to seemingly turn their season around. Currently on a two game win streak, including wins over Florida and Auburn, the Tigers head to Oxford looking for another one.

Last week, as shown in the below video, the Tigers mounted a second half comeback to knock off then top ten ranked Auburn. That kind of comeback doesn’t happen by accident, it happens when a team comes together and fights for a victory. That is what we saw on Saturday afternoon in Death Vally.

While the Tigers are somewhat surging, the Rebels have become somewhat stagnant. They are offensively strong as Shea Patterson and AJ Brown have lived up to billing. Outside of the game against Alabama, they have been strong.

However, they have struggled on the defensive side of the ball and it shows in their overall record. Their lack of run defense will likely come to bite them in the butt on Saturday night as much of LSU’s offense has the ability to run through Darius Guice.

This will be a big match up for the SEC West race as we enter the thick of the season. Here are my bold predictions for the Magnolia Bowl.
