Many Tennessee football fans want Butch Jones to go, but that kind of short-sighted quick reaction has gotten the Vols in trouble before.

Butch Jones and the mighty Tennessee Volunteers have had a rough time of it this season. This doesn’t mean that it’s time to throw away a fantastic life champion like Butch Jones though.

Think about how much positive energy Butch Jones had just a few years ago when he got to Tennessee. Let’s take a look back at some hill person dreams from the beginning of Butch Jones’ time in Knoxville.

Butch Jones is right his team has done everything they can do to win against Alabama besides score touchdowns and stop Bama from scoring touchdowns. If you take away the score these champions of life are truly the greatest group of young men to ever wear the same color as a road cone.

Not everyone at Tennessee was ready to throw in the towel. This young man is trying to tell everyone that the Vols are number 1!

The Vols have so much promise. To fire Jones just because he hasn’t won games is foolish nonsense. Champions of life are built brick by brick and Butch Jones is the grandest mason of them all. Butch Jones is basically the third little pig.

So please stop these terrible tweets to Butch, this is not how hill people should act.

Never joke about killing dogs, especially since dogs have come and gone since the Vols last beat Alabama.

Don’t wish on Butch what the Tennessee fight song wishes on ATF agents, that’s just rude. Let’s all take a deep breath and give Butch another five to six rebuilding seasons. Butch Jones is a great leader and one day he’s going to lead the Vols into the promised land. Vols fans, you can laugh or you can cry, but the choice is yours.
