UCLA Football: 3 takeaways vs. Oregon

Rosen and his running backs
UCLA junior quarterback Josh Rosen has given his critics reason to be silent so far this season, throwing for over 2,000 yards. Outside of a three-interception game vs. Arizona earlier this month, the future NFL player has been the signal-caller most believed him to be.
Rosen was effective when needed Saturday, completing 21 of 36 for 266 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions against an Oregon defense that had no answer for him. He is likely to surpass his numbers from 2015 that included 23 touchdowns and 3,670 yards in the coming weeks.
What Jim Mora and staff had to like, though, was the UCLA ground game that racked up 142 yards on 37 carries. Bolu Olorunfunmi had 13 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown, averaging almost six yards per attempt. Soso Jamabo, another highly-ranked recruit who has struggled, added 66 yards and a score.
If the Bruins can consistently get around 150 yards rushing to compliment Rosen, they will be very dangerous over these next key games in the Pac-12 race.
