LB. Penn State. LINEBACKERS . A.

An effective night for the group of linebackers. Along with the defensive line, they shut down Michigan’s rushing attack and only allowed 269 yards total yards offensively.

Jason Cabinda had an outstanding performance. He led the team in tackles with 13. He also had a sack and a forced fumble that was recovered by Michigan. Koa Farmer turned in a quiet but productive seven tackle night and Manny Bowen had 6 tackles and combined for a half sack with defensive end Ryan Buchholtz.

A year ago against Michigan in Ann Arbor, Penn State was down several linebackers, reaching deep into their depth chart as Michigan ran the ball down their throats. Despite it being a different Michigan offense this year, the Penn State linebackers did not forget last season and they brought their A-game this year.
