4. Shane Buechele is wearing an ankle brace

Shane Buechele has been out the last three weeks with a severe ankle sprain. He is currently wearing a brace and may not be 100 percent yet. This injury should hurt the mobility of Buechele and limit the offense. Behind Buechele is Jerod Heard who was converted to wide receiver.

If Baylor can put some pressure on Buechele and force him to hurry throws the Longhorn offense could struggle to put points on the board. Texas at that point would rely on run and become one-dimensional. Chris Warren is and outstanding back but its a lot to ask of one player.  If the threat of the quarterback running is missing, defenders can key on running back.

Heard could be an option due to mobility but he has proven to be a liability in passing game. The quarterback play is going to be critical in the game. If Texas cannot weather this storm and game plan for this situation, it could be a long day for Texas offense.
