Despite their loss to Iowa State, Oklahoma football is having a decent season. Texas Tech heads to Norman on Saturday, looking for the upset.

The Oklahoma Sooners have had a strong season up to this point, besides the loss to Iowa State. They have taken down Ohio State and won close match ups week in and week out, despite defensive breakdowns that allow early leads to dwindle.

However, the road only gets harder from here as they face Oklahoma State, TCU and West Virginia in the coming weeks.Quarterback Baker Mayfield is confident his team will be in Atlanta, but first they have to get through Texas Tech.

Texas Tech hasn’t been nearly as impressive as Oklahoma. On paper, this seems like an easy win for the Sooners, but so did the match ups with Iowa State, Baylor and Texas. Don’t count the Red Raiders out though, they held their own against the likes of Oklahoma State and West Virginia. Of course, they were crushed last week by Iowa State — a team that the Sooners also fell to.

Does 4-3 Texas Tech have a chance in this match up? Will Baker Mayfield have a field day? Here are my three bold predictions for Saturday’s matchup.
