1. The turnover margin is more important than ever

Baker Mayfield has thrown an interception in each of his last two starts. The Texas Tech defense has 9 total interceptions on the season. The Sooners have 3. Tech also has the edge in forced fumbles at 7 to 4.  They are dead even at 9 turnovers given up this season. These kind of numbers can be game changers for either team this weekend.

The interception that Mayfield threw against Kansas State can be seen below and man is it a beauty. If the Red Raiders can force a couple of those, this game could be completely different than many expect.

Despite the strength of turnovers that Texas Tech possesses, I do see Oklahoma winning this one. However, my bold prediction is that Mayfield has two interceptions on Saturday. Those interceptions will keep the game close, but it will still be a Sooner victory at the end of the day.
