Coming off of a six-point loss to Arizona State, Washington football looks to bounce back against UCLA.

Washington took its only loss of the season against Arizona State two weeks ago but will they be able to avoid another loss to UCLA? For the Huskies, this weekend will show a lot about how this team responds after a heartbreaking loss.

Looking at the ESPN Football Power Index, Washington has a 90 percent chance of getting the win. The spread is currently favoring the Huskies by 17 points at home.

Although it would be a safe bet to go with the Huskies coming back out and beating the Bruins, I think that this could have the potential for being a closer game than many think. Here are three bold predictions ahead of the Huskies vs the Bruins.

3. Huskies easily put up 40 or more

As good as Washington is, the defense they are facing will probably make them look even better. Huskies fans should anticipate seeing some huge plays against UCLA and having a lot of fun watching replays on SportsCenter.

Not only is the defense for the Bruins already bad but their defense on the road is even worse. Out of the past seven consecutive games on the road, UCLA has managed to go completely winless. This includes losses to Stanford, Arizona and Memphis in this season alone.

Jake Browning and company will undoubtedly be putting up some big points in this game. The only reason I don’t think the Huskies will score their season high is because of their 63 points earlier in the season against Montana.

I do, however, think that the Huskies will put up at least 40 points this coming Saturday. The UCLA defense is just so terrible that it would take a freakishly bad showing by the Huskies to not score that at a minimum. Speaking of defense, this brings me to my second prediction.
