3. Early dominance wins the day for Penn State

Don’t blink when you are watching Penn State because you may miss a touchdown or two. Quarterback Trace McSorley has led his team to victory for seven straight weeks and he doesn’t look to be letting up anytime soon.

The rocket-powered Penn State Lions have reached the end zone using fewer than 10 offensive snaps in five of their seven victories so far. The defense has yet to give up a first half score. Check out McSorley’s highlights versus Michigan. This kid, this team is special for sure.

Head coach James Franklin is more than pleased with the way his team has played. “When you have an explosive offensive like we do and you’re playing really good first-quarter defense and you can get a lead, it changes how people have to play… It’s working out pretty good for us,” he said following the Michigan win.

Look for this team to start fast and to put up at least 14 in the first quarter against Ohio State. This Penn State team seems ready for just about anything you throw at them.
