2. Penn State has a stronger secondary than the Buckeyes
Ohio State has a good offense, there is no arguing that. However, they haven’t played much of offensive power houses so far this season. The best they have played is Oklahoma and their secondary was absolutely torched by Baker Mayfield and friends.
Penn State is allowing 9.6 points a game on average. That is impressive no matter who you play. This secondary has been lights out, something that Ohio State has struggled in. Both teams have a strong defensive line and have the ability to through off the game of the opposing quarterback and limit a running game. However, secondary play wins ball games.
