1. Penn State has not and will not crumble in the face of adversity

So far this season, each team has really played one game worth talking about. For Penn State, that is Michigan and for Ohio State it’s Oklahoma. Let’s take a look at the two match ups shall we.

At the start of September, Oklahoma showed up at Ohio Stadium in Columbus ready to take down the Buckeyes. Boy, did they ever. The Sooners won that game 31-16 and Baker Mayfield planted his flag right in the center of the Ohio State field. JT Barrett and company couldn’t get much going at all and the Ohio State defense was basically owned by Baker Mayfield. Not a good look for the Buckeyes.

On the flip side, Penn State faced their biggest test with Michigan last week. The Lions took it to the #1 ranked defense in the nation, scoring 42 points with over 500 yards of offense. That is adversity faced head on and without looking back.

Ohio State has a lot to prove this weekend and while they have the revenge card to play, Penn State has the lack of recognition card. This team is special and Ohio State will see that Saturday. Give me the Nittany Lions by two touchdowns.
