Texas A&M football is trying to rewrite history as October turns to November. That rewrite will continue with a matchup against Mississippi State.

For the last few seasons, Texas A&M has collapsed in the second half of the season after a promising start. It usually starts with a loss to Alabama and it is all down hill from there. However, this season has been different.

It started with a heartbreaking  loss to UCLA and has lead to the most recent Aggie win over Florida. The Aggies once again fell to Alabama. Except, this year it was only by an eight-point margin, something the team and it’s fans are very excited about.

Head Coach Kevin Sumlin, who entered this season on the hot seat, is pleased with his teams progress and their day to day mentality. This team is full of young guys making big time plays and the light shines bright for the future of Aggie Football.

The focus right now is Mississippi State. The Bulldogs have a strong, mobile quarterback who beat the Aggies last season, pushing them out of the top-four quicker than they entered it. However, I see a different outcome at Kyle Field on Saturday night, one where the Aggies come out on top. Here are my five reasons why.
