Remember in September when everyone thought Ohio State football was finished? Well, J.T. Barrett and the Buckeyes are back, baby.

Ohio State left Penn State searching for answers thanks to a wild fourth quarter that included 19 points and a late defensive stop to secure the win and remain unbeaten in Big Ten play. Barrett was breathtaking, passing for 328 yards with four touchdowns, adding another 95 on the ground in the 39-38 victory.

While Saquon Barkley entered the day as the Heisman favorite, Barrett just might have overtaken him thanks to his gutsy performance. K.J. Hill solidified himself as the top target in the passing game, hauling in 12 passes for 102 yards. Austin Mack added 90 yards on six catches, with Johnnie Dixon catching two TD passes.

And that OSU defense that was eaten alive by Baker Mayfield back in September? They allowed 192 yards in the air and 91 on the ground to Barkley and Trace McSorley.

Here’s a look at three key takeaways from Ohio State’s win over Penn State on Saturday:
