Washington has more to prove

Don’t think for one second that the Washington Huskies have forgotten what happened against Alabama last year. If they want another chance against the Crimson Tide they will have to go out and run the table. Even with that, the chances may be slim. At any rate, Washington is gonna need to make a statement every single game and that starts against UCLA.

The Bruins is gonna be the victim this week of an onslaught. On paper and on the field the Huskies have the goods to compete with anyone. However, the results on the field is the only thing that’s gonna matter going forward.

If this team wants to start playing with the “Big Boys” then the Huskies are gonna have to dominate starting Saturday. Beating UCLA in a dominating fashion would be just the first step of regaining their image as one of college football’s elite programs.
