2. Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs are the surprise team of the season. They lose Jacob Eason and everyone doubts them.

Jake Fromm steps in and they are the No. 2 team in the nation. Eason is now the second-string quarterback and is probably thinking about transferring (I am thinking back to Washington, his home state).

This is also head coach Kirby Smart’s second season as the Head Dawg in Athens. He has turned this team around so quick and the good people in Athens are waiting to see if Smart can finish the job and win them a championship.

The Bulldogs have the best running back tandem in the nation with Sony Mitchell and Nick Chubb. The Dawgs have the 10th-best rushing attack per game in the FBS. Fromm has been super efficiency on third down as well. His third ratio of touchdowns to interceptions is 8-1 and he has a 209 passer rating on third down.

When the Bulldogs play Bama in Atlanta for the SEC Championship, it will be for three things: the SEC championship, the No.1 seed in the College Football Playoff Poll and for Smart to be the first Saban assistant to stick to Saban.
