Thanks to an extra week off, Kelly Bryant looked like his old self this past Saturday night for Clemson, a welcome sight for Tiger fans everywhere.

Bryant, a junior, passed for 207 yards and two scores, adding a team-high 67 on the ground, as Clemson rebounded with a 24-10 victory over Georgia Tech.

Two weeks ago, Bryant was knocked out of a loss at Syracuse.

Adam Choice and C.J. Fuller, who had taken back seats to newcomers Travis Etienne and Tavien Feaster this year, ran for 104 yards on 16 carries. Deon Cain caught four passes for 57 yards and a score, as the “old-guard” got it done.

The Clemson defense was again in complete control vs. the Yellow Jackets outside of a 65-yard run snapped off by KirVonte Benson in the early going. Georgia Tech had just 165 yards the rest of the game, including 23 on the ground from quarterback Taquon Marshall, who had been averaging over 100.

Now, the true test awaits, as the Tigers visit NC State Saturday in a showdown for the ACC Atlantic. Having lost to the Orange, Clemson can ill-afford a second league defeat if they want to return to the College Football Playoff.
