1. Baylor will win three of last four games

Predicting three wins in a 12 game season is not usually considered a bold prediction, but when the team in 0-8 one win is improvement. That being said, Baylor will finish off with three wins in final four. Baylor’s schedule was front-loaded and they have played some of the best teams in the conference already.

If Baylor can put some wins together to finish season, it would help wash bad taste of previous eight games out of their mouth. It would also build momentum for 2018 and have something positive for fan base to look forward to.

Baylor’s remaining schedule is at Kansas before facing Texas Tech in Arlington. Following that, the Bears welcome Iowa State to Waco before finishing the season at TCU. Let’s take a look on how these games could shake out.

Kansas

Kansas is a bad team. Baylor is winless but has been competitive in most of their games. Kansas has been outmatched all year except for their lone win against FCS school and rivalry game against Kansas State. Baylor should be able to take care of business in Lawrence and get win No. 1 on the season.

Texas Tech

Baylor was blown out by Texas Tech last year during an 0-6 stretch to finish the season. Texas Tech is reeling coming off of three consecutive losses. Their latest being a 49-27 route by Oklahoma. The Red Raiders have all the earmarks of team imploding. Baylor will take advantage of this and get its second win of the season.

Iowa State

Iowa State has been a great story. Matt Campbell has turned around a Cyclone program in a short period of time and has them ranked in top 15. With big wins over Oklahoma and TCU, he should be hot name on coaching carousel, but they have to play West Virginia and Oklahoma State before playing Baylor. This is a prime spot for let down game for Iowa State. Adding to that, the Cyclones have to go to Waco could add to this upset formula.

TCU

History has shown us that these two teams do not like each other. Matt Rhule has sincere admiration for Gary Patterson, unlike the previous regime. TCU has had a great season before being upset by Iowa State and Kenny Hill has proven to be inconsistent and this is a team that could go either way to end the year. TCU finished the year off facing Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and finally Baylor. The Horned Frogs could lose all four to finish the year.
