Penn State Football: 3 bold predictions against No. 24 Michigan State
By Jesse Smith
Penn State football heads to East Lansing for a ranked showdown against No. 24 Michigan State on Saturday. Will there be an upset?
The new No. 7 team in the nation, Penn State, will head to East Lansing, Mich., to take on No. 24 Michigan State. Penn State just lost an instant classic to Ohio State 39-38 on Saturday in Columbus and now the Nittany Lions will be on the road again to take on another dangerous Big Ten foe. Penn State will be looking to get back on track against another Top 25 team.
Michigan State is fresh off of a loss against Northwestern, 39-31 in overtime, but an angry Penn State team might not be who they want to see after being upset by the Wildcats.
Who will allow their losing streak to go to two games? Another loss by Penn State will cripple their College Football Playoff hopes and even with the loss to Ohio State many expect them to still have a strong shot to sneak in at the end of the season.
Michigan State would hurt their big bowl aspirations severely with a loss on Saturday, but them beating Penn State doesn’t seem likely because they don’t have the firepower to scare the Nittany Lions on offense.
Check out my three predictions for Saturday’s Big Ten battle.
