3. Saquon Barkley will get back on track

Against the respected Ohio State defense, Heisman-hopeful running back Saquon Barkley scored twice. Once you hear “he scored twice” you think, “Man Barkley must’ve killed the Buckeyes defense like he did the Wolverines a weekend before.”

However, if you take away the 36-yard run for a score, he only had 31 total yards. Even when you add the run into the mix, he only had 67 total yards, which is a season low for the star running back. His all-purpose yards totaled 172 and if you take away his huge 97-yard kickoff return he is less than 100 yards for the day. For most, this is a great day, but for Barkley this is a below-average game.

Michigan State has a solid defense, but I feel bad for them because if you think James Franklin and Co. aren’t going to get Barkley going at a good clip on Saturday, I’ve got some land in South Dakota I want to sell to you.

The Spartans only allow 89.8 yards per game on the ground, but I’m willing to bet that Barkley gets at least 100 yards against the vaunted Spartans defense and adds two touchdowns on top of that.

I believe he will have over 150 total yards on Saturday, it might not seem like a godly amount but after being held to under 70 Saturday, he will at least double his output against another stout defense.
