4. Can Arkansas take the Golden Boot?

Both Arkansas and LSU started out pretty rocky. The difference between the two is that LSU rebounded and came back, unlike Arkansas who remained as bad as when they started the season.

Arkansas could, however, be coming off of a two-win streak, one of which is an SEC team. Would that be enough to go down to Baton Rouge and beat a LSU team that currently has an 85 percent probability to win this matchup?

Well, for those who don’t follow teams in the SEC, let me explain something to you that may not be something you’re factoring in. In the SEC, there is a saying that says “Don’t let Alabama beat you twice.” For those teams who have the unfortunate pleasure of playing Bama, only one week is generally not enough time to heal physically and emotionally, which leads to another loss the next game.

Who does LSU play before they play Arkansas? Alabama. That’s something I am going to factor in when I make the bold prediction that Arkansas loses to LSU. No, I don’t think that LSU will play their best game of the season but I don’t think they can play bad enough to lose to Arkansas even after playing the Tide.
