Clemson Football: 3 Predictions vs NC State in Week 10

Clemson Football gets their first chance to defend their top four College Football Playoff ranking in Week 10 against NC State.

2017 has been quite the ride for both of these programs thus far. Clemson began the season in the shadow of their recent National Championship. With so many losses to the NFL Draft, they weren’t expected to be back in the Playoff hunt, especially with Florida State looking so formidable.

Despite those moderate expectations and a road loss to Syracuse, the Tigers checked in at No. 4 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. It appears that they’ll control their destiny with potential resume building games still to be played against the ACC Coastal winner and NC State.

NC State came from even further under the radar. The Wolfpack garnered some notice by beating then No. 12 Florida State. They followed that up with a win over Lamar Jackson and then No. 17 Louisville a few weeks later. That sets up what has become a top 25 matchup on Saturday.
