1. Jaylen Samuels has the best game of his career

Senior tight end Jaylen Samuels has been one of the more underappreciated pieces of the NC State offense. He’s been much more than a safety blanket for quarterback Ryan Finley. He’s been the most dynamic pass catching threat in the Wolfpack offense.

Samuels enters their Week 10 game with a team high 56 receptions and is tied for the most receiving touchdowns on the team (three). While he’s be an integral part of the offense in every game, he’s been even better when the spotlight shines the brightest.

His biggest games of the season came when they mattered the most. Samuels hauled in 12 catches for 64 yards and a touchdown with five carries for 11 yards and another score against Florida State. Against Louisville he had a career high 104 receiving yards on seven catches.

It’s going to be a challenge for he Wolfpack to move the ball against an elite Clemson defense. That’s going to set up plenty third-and-mediums on Saturday. The offense will turn to Samuels to move the chains and keep the Wolfpack in the game.
