Ole Miss football has reached the final month of a forgetful 2017 campaign, sitting at 3-5 on the season. Here are some bold predictions to the remainder of the year.

The loss to Arkansas sums up the Rebels in 2017. The Rebels raced out to a 31-7 lead and looked to be in total control of the game. Then turnovers occurred. Then the offense stalled out. Finally, Arkansas won 38-37. The Rebels couldn’t get out of their own ways, despite the superior talent on offense. This was a game between the SEC’s worst defenses and Ole Miss proved they couldn’t make adjustments.

Going forward, the month of November pits the Rebels against Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Texas A&M and Mississippi State. The only win that anyone would seriously say Ole Miss could get in that group is Louisiana. But we aren’t here to discuss likely options. We are here to discuss bold predictions.

November is an important month for Ole Miss. Not only on the field but also for the Committee on Infractions (COI) decision for the football program and the ramping up of the head coaching search. Therefore, this list will have predictions that base themselves both on and off the field.

The talent is still there and Ole Miss can still be a dangerous team, especially if the offense clicks for an entire game. Let’s dive into our predictions, beginning with the biggest stretch of a prediction on this list.
