Both of those teams present a challenge for Nick Saban’s unit, running up-tempo offenses with good quarterbacks who can beat you with their arm and their legs.
On this night, the Tigers (6-3, 3-2 SEC) put up only a little fight, as their three-game win streak was snapped.
After a dominating performance vs. Mississippi two weeks ago, many wondered if LSU might give Alabama problems. Like recent history tells us, trying to pound the ball at the teeth of the Tide defense is not the way to challenge them.
