2. Ohio State’s College Football Playoff hopes are down the drain
Have you ever hear the song “A Week Ago” by Jay-Z featuring Too Short? Ohio State fans can resonate with that song right now. They know it was all good just a week ago; now, not so much. Head coach Urban Meyer said the win over Penn STate might’ve been his biggest win at Ohio State.
Well, this week might be his worst loss the head coach of the scarlet and gray. Iowa beat them down 55-24, that is what you call getting taken to the shed. Last week they were ranked sixth in the College Football Playoff rankings, but after getting beat down on Saturday who knows where they will be ranked. They now sit at 7-2 overall and 4-1 in the Big Ten.
Ohio State still has a shot to win their division, but unless a lot of teams tally up two losses soon the Buckeyes College Football Playoffs dreams are nothing more than a pipe dream for Urban Meyer and the crew.
