Wisconsin football started slow against the Indiana Hoosiers but scored 14 unanswered points to take the lead into halftime and never looked back.

The Badgers rolled into Bloomington with their unblemished 8-0 record looking to make a statement against the 3-5 Hoosiers. Ranked No. 9 coming into the game, the Badgers still weren’t receiving much respect from talking heads around the country. They were undefeated, but their wins hadn’t come against any of the biggest and best programs.

“They haven’t played anybody elite yet. BYU isn’t as good as we thought heading into the season. They’ve got Iowa and Michigan in the coming weeks. They’d get blown out by Ohio State and Penn State.” That was the common refrain bantered about the water cooler when it came to this Wisconsin team.
