College football is an ever-evolving landscape filled with ups, downs and crazy twists. What did we learn from the Week 10 results?

November has been cold, brutal, unforgiving and that’s just if you’re a fan of Kansas Football. However, on the other side of the coin, you see the championship chase starting to form in the conference and around the nation as a whole.

Another week offered up more upsets and more shapeshifting events but don’t get too comfortable because this time next week, there will be more upsets and shapeshifting events from Week 11.

Bye-Bye Big Ten CFP chances….

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust.

Show me a Big Ten that you can actually trust.

After two straight seasons where the Big Ten places itself among the top teams in America for 14 weeks out of the season to only fold in the CFP, the day of reckoning came a few months ahead of schedule.

In about 30 to 45 minutes, the Big Ten’s two best chances to reach the playoff (Ohio State and Penn State) both crumbled on the road and not only did playoff chances go to dust but Heisman chances did as well (more on that later). You may be wondering why I, along with so many other college football writers are having a funeral for the Big Ten and thinking, what about Wisconsin?

Well here’s the thing about Wisconsin, although I’ve tried to give them every chance to see how they measure up as a playoff-caliber team they just don’t cut the mustard. I would give about five to six teams over them right now and that is including someone and two-loss teams. Wisconsin has the chance to make a late run but if teams like Notre Dame, Clemson, and Oklahoma win out then Wisconsin could very well be sitting in a New Year’s Six bowls with an undefeated record and no real chance of being named a national champion.
