College Football Playoff 2017: Projected Top 4 for Week 11
By Jesse Smith
There was plenty of wild finishes in Week 10, but how did those upsets affect the College Football Playoff picture? Here’s what the new top four should be.
Week 10 introduced the first College Football Playoff rankings. Most feel they got the rankings right. Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame and Clemson were the top four with Oklahoma and Ohio State on the outside looking in. The teams in the top four all won on Saturday, but teams that were highly respected caught losses in Week 10.
Ohio State was torched by Iowa, 55-24 giving them their second loss of the season and pretty much ending their College Football Playoff hopes. The same thing happened to Penn State as they loss to Michigan State, 27-24 giving them their second loss of the season.
Iowa State also fell in Week 10, they were a dark horse to make a run, but West Virginia ended their outside hopes also. Wisconsin won, but they are the biggest losers of the downfall of Ohio State and Penn State losing. The biggest winners of this downfall were Miami, TCU and Oklahoma.
These four teams currently lead the pack. Here’s the Week 11 College Football Playoff top four.
