3. Wisconsin Badgers (No. 8)

The Wisconsin Badgers might just be on the College Football Playoff snubs list each and every week until they make the top four. However, that might never actually happen. Wisconsin is undefeated and is the Big Ten’s last hope, seemingly, to make the playoff this season with Michigan State (12), Ohio State (13) and Penn State (14) all having two losses.

The Badgers have one of the top running backs in the country as a true freshman and a quarterback who is looking to improve by the week. Unfortunately, they play in one of the weakest divisions in the Power Five.

Wisconsin’s schedule has been as weak as any in the Top 25, with the best win coming against Northwestern which is now ranked No. 25. The Badgers will need to win out, beating No. 20 Iowa and Michigan, to earn some respect from the playoff committee.

A 12-0 Wisconsin team with wins over Northwestern, Iowa, Michigan and either Michigan State, Penn State or Ohio State in the title game would easily give this team a leg up on some one-loss squads.
