1. The Badgers are still undefeated

The most illuminate argument the College Football Playoff committee has facing them and many analysts are trying to tackle is whether or not an undefeated Power Five conference champion deserves to be in.

While some say undefeated does not mean as much, it still is incredibly hard to go through a Power Five schedule without one blemish. The Badgers, like many, have had bad games but have also been able to fight through those and get the win, while others like Clemson and even TCU or Oklahoma have fallen.

Wisconsin currently sits as one of four Power Five teams with no losses and frankly is the only reason they are ranked where they are right now. Pairing this with the other reasons on this list and the opportunities that await the Badgers, all signs are pointing to good things for Wisconsin.
