Arkansas football has had a forgettable season thus far, but here’s why the Razorbacks can upset No. 24 LSU in Week 11.

After the first week of the season, everything seemed to be going in the right direction for Bret Bielema and Arkansas football. The Razorbacks had dismantled Florida A&M like expected and it seemed like this team would be void of letdowns.

However, things changed, and fast. In fact, TCU had their way with the Razorbacks, winning by three touchdowns in Fayetteville. Texas A&M took down Arkansas in the annual rivalry game at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. That was one of the better games of the young season, but it was still a back-breaker.

The Razorbacks rebounded against yet another cupcake, beating New Mexico State, 42-24. They then lost three straight to South Carolina, Alabama and Auburn before putting together two straight wins for the first time all year against Ole Miss, on the road, and Coastal Carolina at home — although the latter was a one-point victory, which felt like a loss.

The LSU Tigers are next on the schedule and despite the poor play recently, here’s why the Razorbacks will upset Ed Orgeron’s squad.
