Arkansas Football: 5 reasons the Razorbacks will upset LSU in Week 11
5. Revenge will play a key role
The all-time series record between Arkansas and LSU is a bit one-sided as the Tigers lead 38-22-2. Revenge could be on the minds of the Razorbacks on Saturday after being blown out 38-10 last year at home. Before that, Bielema had beaten LSU two straight times, including once in Baton Rouge, but the Tigers walloped the Razorbacks in Fayetteville last year.
Coaches like to downplay it, but revenge is usually a major driving point in locker rooms. Players remember those games. It was one of the biggest margins of victory for LSU in series history and it led to three losses in the Razorbacks’ final four games, including a Belk Bowl loss against Virginia Tech.
With revenge on the mind and a chance to put a sour taste in LSU’s mouth to end the 2017 season, the Razorbacks are going to play with nothing to lose on Saturday. How will LSU respond to Arkansas’ fearless play?
