Arkansas Football: 5 reasons the Razorbacks will upset LSU in Week 11
2. LSU has been inconsistent all year
Just look at LSU’s track record this season. First, they open with two blowout wins over BYU and Chattanooga, looking like one of the best defensive teams in college football and then the Tigers give up 37 points in a 30-point defeat against Mississippi State.
They beat an improved Syracuse team led by Dino Babers and then lose to Troy at home. The Tigers pick up three straight wins over Florida, Auburn and Ole Miss, two of which are on the road, and then come out flat against Alabama, scoring just 10 points in a 14-point loss.
One thing this LSU team hasn’t done this season is lose two straight games, but that will change on Saturday as Arkansas comes to town. This is the type of LSU team to hold its own defensively against the Crimson Tide one week and then give up 30-plus to Arkansas the next.
Inconsistency is one of the most dangerous things in college football and it’s been plaguing the Tigers all season long. If they don’t jump all over the Razorbacks early on and let them hang around, they could spell upset.
