On Saturday, undefeated Georgia football will take on surging Auburn to defend its No. 1 ranking. Here’s everything you need to know.

Perhaps the most shocking team of the season, the Georgia Bulldogs have skyrocketed to the top of the College Football Playoff rankings. They are 9-0 and looking to continue on their historic season on the road against Auburn on Saturday afternoon.

No one expected the Georgia Bulldogs to be where they are. If you had told me that this would possibly be the SEC match up of the year, I would have called you crazy. However, here we are with the Georgia Bulldogs as the SEC East Champions and Auburn still fighting for the West.

This matchup will be the one to watch on Saturday. This one isn’t the game of the week by default or by process of elimination, but this is going to be a big one.

Here’s how you can watch the Georgia vs. Auburn game:

Date: Saturday, Nov. 11
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Location: Auburn, Ala.
Venue: Jordan-Hare Stadium
TV: CBS
Live Stream: CBS Sports Live

Keys to Victory

The key for both teams to win this one will be shutting down the oppositions running attack. Georgia has Nick Chubb. Auburn has Kerryon Johnson. Both are strong, powerful runners that can power through defensive lines like it’s nothing. The team that manages to shut one of those two down has a pretty good chance to win this one.

Another key will be the turnover battle. Both teams have defensive studs that have the ability to make big plays when their team needs them most. It is likely that the team who wins the turnover battle wins the game.

The last key will be quarterback play and presence. It will be important to be poised and aware in the pocket, making the most accurate and likely completed throw possible. Jarrett Stidham vs. Jake Fromm, a battle for the ages.

Prediction

The Auburn Tigers have the talent and the firepower to take down the Bulldogs, but it won’t happen this week. Jake Fromm will take the Tigers by storm, throwing for three touchdowns in a narrow victory for the Georgia Bulldogs. This victory margin likely won’t be more than seven, though I see it being even less than that.

Look for Georgia’s playmakers to continue making the plays that Bulldogs need the most at the perfect times. Auburn will hang in, but Georgia will win the day and remain at the top of College Football Playoff rankings.

Final Score: Georgia 28, Auburn 24
