5. Danny Etling is the better quarterback

LSU quarterback Danny Etling hasn’t been spectacular this season by any stretch of the imagination. However, he has been consistent enough to bring the Tigers to 6-3 and still kicking in the SEC West. Etling owns a 58 percent completion rate for just north of 1,500 yards. While those numbers don’t jump out at you, the passing he does opens up more chances for the Tigers dangerous run game to be successful.

When some were talking about Etling getting benched in favor of Myles Brennan, this was his response. Etling isn’t taking a step back and is ready to take on Arkansas.

On the other side, Arkansas quarterback Cole Kelley is struggling with a foot injury which could render him unavailable for this weeks match up. Their normal starting quarterback, Austin Allen, has struggled with a shoulder injury for the past four weeks. At this point, who knows who will be the Razorbacks quarterback on Saturday morning and as a result, it could be a long day for this Arkansas team.
