After two straight losses, Texas A&M football looks to get back to winning ways in Week 11 against the New Mexico Lobos at Kyle Field.

The final non-conference matchup of the season is here for Texas A&M football. In Week 11, the Aggies take on the New Mexico Lobos at home at Kyle Field. Texas A&M is now fighting for bowl eligibility after looking to be in good position for one of the top spots in the SEC West standings. Now, the Aggies are looking at a bottom three finish along with the Arkansas Razorbacks and Ole Miss Rebels.

There’s only two games Texas A&M has yet to play in SEC West competition. Ole Miss is on tap next week, on Nov. 18. Then, the Aggies have a tough finish to the season in the LSU Tigers, a team that has been hot of late aside from a loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The only non-conference game the Aggies have lost this season came in the shocking 35-point comeback by quarterback Josh Rosen and the UCLA Bruins in Week 1. That game nearly cost head coach Kevin Sumlin his job. Sumlin is, once again, fighting for his job in College Station.

Texas A&M not making a bowl game should not even be a thought with a team like New Mexico awaiting the Aggies in Week 11. The Lobos enter with only three wins and struggling in Mountain West Conference play. The Aggies are a 17.5-point favorite over the Lobos.

A seven win finish to the regular season would not be the worst way for the Aggies to cap things off in the 2017 campaign. Both freshmen quarterbacks, Nick Starkel and Kellen Mond, signal a bright future ahead for this program. Deciding what to do with Sumlin is the biggest decision.

Here are five reasons the Texas A&M Aggies will beat New Mexico in Week 11.
