Georgia football was upset by No. 10 Auburn on the road in Week 11, falling from the ranks of the undefeated. Here are three things we learned from the Tigers’ win.

In somewhat of a surprising turn of results, Georgia, not Alabama was the No. 1 team in the nation when the initial College Football Playoff rankings were released. Up to that point the Bulldogs were undefeated and had the best resume in the country. They carried their perfect record into a Week 11 game against the Auburn Tigers.

Auburn had already suffered two losses, but back to back impressive wins over Arkansas and Texas A&M had propelled the Tigers into the top 10.

Georgia struck first on a 1-yard Nick Chubb touchdown. Auburn took the lead in the second quarter on Daniel Carlson‘s third field goal of the day and they didn’t look back. After allowing the early 7-0 lead, Auburn outscored Georgia 40-10 on their way to a emphatic 33-70 victory.
