Quarterback Brandon Wimbush posted his worst statistical outing of the season, finishing with only 148 total yards and one touchdown. He also threw two poor interceptions, capping off what was a very disappointing night for the Irish overall.
Notre Dame’s defense played better than what the scoreboard might suggest, but they were still far from impressive in a game that saw them let up a total of 374 yards. The Notre Dame coaching staff failed to make the proper adjustments, and the Irish will now face Navy at 8-2.
