Miami football had arguably the best win of Week 11, taking down No. 3 Notre Dame in blowout fashion. Who shined the brightest?

It was a game that lovers of 1980s college football had dreamed to see once again. A top 10 match up between Miami and Notre Dame, “Catholics vs. Convicts” renewed. The Hurricanes were ready for this game, as they tabbed former All-American safety and career interceptions leader, Ed Reed, as honorary captain. With ex-Canes such as Warren Sapp and Clinton Portis on the sidelines, they got the show they had hoped for.

Miami showed the entire country that they are indeed contenders, thrashing the Irish in a 41-8 blowout. Miami racked up 234 yards rushing and three touchdowns on the ground, two of them coming from running back DeeJay Dallas. Malik Rosier was efficient as well completing 15 of 24 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown. Rosier also added another touchdown on the ground.

The Miami defense unleashed on Brandon Wimbush and Josh Adams, as they held the Irish to 261 yards of total offense. The now-famous “Turnover Chain” made four appearances on Saturday, the most notable appearance after Trajan Brandy’s 65-yard pick six before halftime, which essentially slammed the door on the Irish’s hopes.

With the Hurricanes at 9-0, here are the players who shined the brightest after their performance on Saturday Night.
