Many wondered if quarterback Malik Rosier would be able to handle the pressure of a game of this magnitude. It’s safe to say he passed the test with flying colors.

Rosier took more of a game-manager approach and did not commit a turnover the entire game. He finished 15-of-24 passing for 137 yards and a touchdown to receiver Braxton Berrios to open the Miami scoring. Rosier also added 44 yards rushing on nine carries and a Jerome Bettis-esque touchdown run as he bounced off defenders on his way to the endzone.

Rosier has been the Hurricanes catalyst all year, but he made sure to let the media know that they still had work to do.

If Miami can win the national championship, Rosier will need to stick to the formula that was successful against the Irish on Saturday night. If he does, Miami will be in the running for their sixth national championship.
