One of the favorite targets among some of the best jobs that are open right now or could be open soon is the former head coach of the Oregon Ducks, Chip Kelly. As of right now, Kelly is a broadcaster with ESPN after joining the company in May of this year.

However, Kelly has shown some interest in coaching again at the college ranks. His stint did not work out well in the NFL, between tenures with the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers. He was much better off in his time in Eugene.

Texas A&M would be an interesting option for Kelly in the minds of college football fans. The Aggies have the talent to run a higher-paced offense that incorporates more of a spread-option style.

The problem with that is the SEC style of play. Few teams are successful in running high tempo offenses on a consistent basis. Kelly would also need a few years to recruit the right players to fit his scheme.
