Week 3: Bowl games from Dec. 27 through Dec. 29
With the postseason compacting so that there are no bowl games between the semifinals and finals of the College Football Playoff, a lot of action is going to be packed into the three days between Boxing Day and December 30. College football fans will be the beneficiary with some high-profile duels on the docket.
Perhaps the most intriguing is the likely matchup of former conference rivals Texas and Texas A&M, who are slated to meet in Houston at the Texas Bowl. Iowa and Arizona could feature one of the most exciting games of the postseason in the Holiday Bowl. TCU and Stanford are projected to face one another in the Alamodome, while Washington and NC State might meet in El Paso this year.
