The 2017 SEC football season is nearing a close, but we just had one of the best weeks of football in the conference of the season. Find out where the SEC teams sit in this weeks power rankings.
One thing was clear by the end of week 11 in the SEC. And that is that anything could happen from here on out. The games between Alabama and Mississippi State and Auburn and Georgia were proof of that.
Looking down the road, the Iron Bowl is going to be one heck of a game. Throughout the rest of the conference there was mostly barn burners. The Florida-South Carolina matchup however was a good game between unranked teams in the conference.
Week 12 doesn’t have as many great matchups as last week. The best of the bunch is the Texas A&M-Ole Miss matchup. Mississippi State and Arkansas could be a good matchup, but I would tend to think that the Bulldogs could take advantage of the Razorback defense.
Alabama has essentially a bye week against Mercer. Georgia will look to regroup after their first loss of the season against Kentucky. LSU takes on Tennessee and Auburn faces Louisiana-Monroe in a tune up game before the Iron Bowl.
Lets dive into this week’s SEC power rankings, beginning with No. 14, the Tennessee Volunteers.
