After clinching the ACC Atlantic title, Clemson football will try to honor their senior class with another victory vs. The Citadel Saturday.

Last year, the Tigers (9-1) lost on Senior Day in Death Valley to Pittsburgh in overtime. The loss snapped a 21-game home win streak for Clemson and Dabo Swinney, which dated back to the 2013 season.

Clemson was able to rebound and still reach the College Football Playoff for a second consecutive season, going on to win the national title over Alabama.

Now, the Tigers are again in a position to compete for the crown with two regular season games left before the ACC Championship vs. Miami.

Kelly Bryant has returned to form after an ankle injury that forced him out of the loss to Syracuse. He has almost 2,000 yards passing and seven touchdowns, forming a backfield duo with freshman Travis Etienne.

Etienne, who has taken over the No. 1 running back position, has rushed for 617 yards on just 80 carries, scoring nine times.

The Citadel (5-5) have lost two straight since back-to-back wins in late October over Chattanooga and VMI. Last week, they were handled by Furman, 56-20.

Here’s how to watch Saturday’s Clemson game vs. The Citadel:

Date: Saturday, Nov. 18
Time: 12:20 p.m. ET
Location: Clemson, S.C.
Venue: Memorial Stadium
TV: ACC Network
Live Stream: WatchESPN

Keys to Victory

Last year, The Citadel reached the FCS Playoffs and were ranked as high as No. 6. But this team is a far cry from that unit, as they have struggled to get to .500 on the season and will not earn a third consecutive Southern Conference title.

Clemson should be able to pick its score on Saturday, giving the Tigers a chance with many others competing for CFP spots to post gaudy numbers, rest the starters and prepare for bigger battles ahead.

Look for Bryant to get in maybe a half of work before turning the ball over to Zerrick Cooper and Hunter Johnson for some extended time with the offense.

Prediction

Before the Tigers can think about Miami and the ACC championship game in December, they must get through South Carolina next week. This should serve as nothing more than a tune-up for that.

Prediction: Clemson 48, The Citadel 3
