Michigan Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Wisconsin in Week 12
Wisconsin is hosting Michigan football on Saturday, Nov. 18, for a crucial Big Ten matchup. Here are my three bold predictions for the Week 12 matchup.
The Michigan Wolverines head into Camp Randall Stadium, home of “Jump Around” in the student section, to take on the Wisconsin Badgers. The Badgers are 10-0 (7-0 Big Ten) and facing only their second real test of the season in the 8-2 (5-2) Wolverines.
According to Bill C’s S&P+ The Badgers are ranked third overall in FBS while Michigan is 16th in the S&P+ after losses to Penn State and Michigan State. However, those losses came under a quarterback identity crisis that we’ll get to later on in our bold predictions.
The Badgers weak schedule has been one of Kansas State level atrociousness. The Wisconsin offense has a young star in Jonathan Taylor, the freshman tailback from New Jersey. Taylor has rushed for 1,500-plus yards, 12 touchdowns and averaged seven yards per carry in 2017.
However, the only ranked team they’ve faced all season was Iowa who is now 6-4. Quarterback has also been an issue for Wisconsin as Alex Hornibrook has struggled with turnovers all season and Wolverines Defensive Coordinator Don Brown must be salivating at 17-12 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
Here are my three bold predictions for the Michigan Wolverines at the Wisconsin Badgers.
