Michigan State Football: Preview, prediction, live stream vs. Maryland

Michigan State will host Maryland on Saturday evening. Here’s everything you need to know for the Big Ten matchup.
Michigan State has been the surprise of the Big Ten, they have beaten the likes of Michigan and Penn State, after a three win season in 2016 many didn’t expect them to be a real threat in the conference this season, but Mark Dantonio and his staff has done a great job at rallying the troops and now the Spartans can possibly have a 10-win season. If they win their last two games and their bowl they would be able to accomplish that feat.
Maryland is currently sitting at 4-6 and would have to win two in a row to become bowl eligible. They would have to beat Michigan State and Penn State in back to back weeks to make this happen, they have shown some improvement, but I don’t think it is in the cards for them this year. For Terps fans, at least you were able to beat Texas.

Prediction
A week after getting manhandled by an angry Ohio State team, I personally expect Michigan State to do the same thing to Maryland in Week 12. I expect Michigan State’s defense to stop Maryland’s running game, mainly running back Ty Johnson, the way they controlled Saquon Barkley and not the way they let Mike Weber and J.K. Dobbins do them in Week 11.
The offense, led by quarterback Brian Lewerke, and running back LJ Scott will be the main reason the Spartans score more than three points this weekend.

All in all I just think Maryland got a bad draw this week, they just got handled by Michigan last week and now they get to play an angry Michigan State team. There won’t be any love in East Lansing in Week 12. Expect to see your regular brand of Michigan State football in Week 12.
