Here’s everything you need to know about the Week 12 SEC matchup between Texas A&M football and Ole Miss.

The SEC isn’t the conference it was a few years ago, but this game should still be a great one, particularly as the teams are both coming off solid wins last week and are looking to build momentum.

The Aggies destroyed New Mexico last week, but have been inconsistent for most of this year. The Rebels are on a hot streak, despite struggling earlier in the season. They have won their last two games in a row.

The Rebels have won the last three in this series, so the Aggies will be looking for redemption. I’m not sure that they are going to get it.

Here’s how you can watch Saturday’s SEC game between Texas A&M and Ole Miss:

Date: Saturday, Nov. 18
Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
Location: Oxford, Miss.
Venue: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium
TV: ESPN 2
Live Stream: WatchESPN

Keys to Victory

Despite their differing records, the two teams in this game are equally matched. They have similar points per game at about 33, and similar total yardage at about 450. The Aggies are better on the rush, but Ole Miss’ passing game gets better each week. The Aggies looked solid against Alabama, but then struggled against Florida and got pounded by both Auburn and Mississippi State. Ole Miss got decimated by Bama, Auburn and LSU, but has won its last two.

The Aggies have more offensive depth and their ground game is solid, but Rebel quarterback Jordan Ta’amu gets better every game and the offense has caught fire lately. This game will be a close one, and expect Ole Miss’ surging offense to cover for their weak defense.

Prediction

Yes, Texas A&M blew the doors off poor New Mexico last week — but that was New Mexico. The Rebels are in a down year, but this is a road game for the Aggies and the Rebels have history on their side. This won’t be an easy game for either team. The Aggies have been inconsistent in the quarterback position as they jostle players around trying to find the best fit. Add to that head coach Kevin Sumlin’s nerves over losing his job and it could create a mess for the Aggies.

Although the Rebels have a self-imposed bowl ban, they will be playing hungry and their offense has been moving the ball efficiently. This will be close, but the Rebels should claim a fourth victory in a row in this series.

Final Score:  Ole Miss 28 , Texas A&M 26
