The Mississippi State football heads to Fayetteville to take on the Razorbacks just a week after a near upset of Alabama, looking for a statement win.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are flying high and feeling confident after nearly beating Alabama. They have rocked up to No. 16 in the College Football Playoff rankings and will be looking to solidify that with a win over the Razorbacks on the road.

On the flip side, the Arkansas Razorbacks are treading water, looking to finish the season before their coach gets fired. Their athletic director, Jeff Long, was just fired. They only have one conference win to their name, over the likes of Ole Miss. They are going back and forth between quarterbacks. The defense gives up over 420 yards a game. They are basically just a bumbling mess.

As the video says below, the “#RoadDawgs” are ready for the challenge that many are calling a trap game for them. This team is talented and they are ready to show that against the Razorbacks.

This game could be a serious stat builder for many Bulldogs, especially Nick Fitzgerald and Aries Williams. They will look to take advantage of a struggling secondary, much like they did against an injured Alabama. Overall, this could be a fun match up for the Bulldogs and not so much for the Razorbacks. Here are my three bold predictions for the afternoon.
