2. The Irish have a Heisman hopeful in Josh Adams

Navy allows an average of just over 165 rushing yards a game. Notre Dame starting running back Josh Adams has over 1,200 yards on the season and counting. He is a power runner and a leader for this team. His presence on the field, Miami not withstanding, seems to be a huge deal for opposing teams. For them to have huge rushing threats in both Wimbush and Adams is a lot for Navy to fend off. Just look at this kid run, he is lethal.

When Josh Adams gets going, he is hard to stop and hard to bring down. Couple that with the fact that Navy isn’t having the stellar season they were looking for and Notre Dame is angry and looking for a rebound win at home and this is the recipe for a field day for Josh Adams. If there was ever a time for him to help his Heisman case, it’s now.
